Bottle 0,75ltr: A orange/brownish ale with they put plums in, maybe this will give its sweetish taste.

75 cl bottle. Amber color. Flowery aroma with a light touch of prunes. Fruity (prunes, pineapple) flavor, biscuity with a light bitterness in the background. Sweet and slightly sugary. Well balanced.

Bouteille(750ml): Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, some floaties visible, small off-white foamy layer; sweetish caramelly nose with distinctive plummy-fruity traces and almost solid nutty aromas; solid sweet flavour, very mild bitterness, medium bodied, fortunately not sticky; sweet fruity finish, balancing bitterness hardly detectable. Not too bad, but too sweet for me…

750ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, mahogany colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, barely lacing, off-white head. Fruity prune aroma comes along on a bready slab, sweet-ish augury. Taste is minimally tart fruity, prune notes all around; prickling carbonation lends airiness, dry finish with hints of fruit parings; maybe a touch of alcohol. Easily not as sweet as sus-/expected, well exposed prune flavours. Funny.

Plum beer - plums having been used in beer since medieval times but having become more and more obsolete since then - with pale beige, moussy head and deep reddish bronze colour, hazy. Sweet but fresh fruit in the nose, plums of course, but complex, quince jam, brambleberries, apple sauce, caramel, liqueur, dough, dried leaves, lemon peel, grassy hops. Soft fruit sweetness again in the mouth, as well as fruit sourishness, plum juice dominating at first, caramel malts and a delicate alcohol finish not unlike Kirsch or eau de vie, not astringent, though the sweetness lingers and hop bitterness remains as good as absent. The plum juice taste will remain with you for a while. Very original beer and very interesting.

Hazy yellow colour, white head. Fruity aroma, candy, plums, quite spicy. Light sour flavour, candy, sweets, apricot sweets (those rounded triangular ones, for those that know them). Light sour finish, fruit esters, quite fruity.

Bottle from Steven. This was a well conceived and executed beer. I was surprised. The prunes were at the right level for the maltiness which was around the entry weight for a Dubbel. The palate was pretty balanced too - not cloying at all.

750ml bottle shared at home. Pours hazy amber brown, a few floaters. Lots of plum, other red fruit, lambic-style yeastiness. Good sour taste, creamy texture. Very enjoyable.
