33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Pale amber with a thin white head; sweet tropical fruit aroma; full of fruity flavours, clemantine and satsuma to start, then becoming more grapefruity, and with a strong, sharp, cirusy bitterness; and a lingering finish. A really good Pacific style IPA.

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 30/3/2013. Golden with a thin white head. Big aroma of grapefruit, clementines and pine. Flavour had a lot of tropical fruit, solid malts, goosberries and a dry finish. Very good.

Bottle from Nelson Wines. It pours clear golden yellow with a bubbly white head. The nose is pine, passion fruit, grapefruit, elderflower and Welch’s grape juice. The taste is pine, straw, resin, assertive bitterness, pithy citrus, grapefruit, pepper and floral notes with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice hopped-up pale ale.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, orange - citrus, light orange marmalade. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, hoppy, citrus - orange, warm fruit, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121116]

Cask at Craft Clerkenwell - 27/11/12. Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin bubbly off white head. Nose comprises hops, pine, bitter tropical fruits Tastes of bitter hops, light caramel malt tones, orange, grapefruit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, bitter finish. Decent cask APA.

Bottle @ "Det er meget mørkt i Ulfborg", November 2012. Pours clear golden with a white bubbly head. Flowers, berries, marmelade and gasoline. Dry and sharp bitterness. Hoppy and happy!

Bottle, 6% @ FOneFan. Clear deep golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, little pine, little grapefruit and bitter.

Cask@Euston Tap, London. Goldeny orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nectary and mild honeylike notes along with a quite nice malty balance. Flavour is being rather similar in a refreshing way. Pleasant and quite easy to drink for being 6 %.

Aroma - Pale malts, some hay, some soft grassy hops, bit of must
Taste - Better than the aroma - grassy hops, some resinous hops, sweet palate malts, bit of damp hay, some zest. In the middle, more bitterness but tempered by the sweetish hay malts. Unusual hops here, bit earthy as well. Quite complex. Not that fruity, more zest, grassy and wet hay.
Palate - soft carb, medium body. Finish - more bitter here, now bitter grapefruit coming through and more zest, less grass. Quite a complex linger of hops left in the lingering
Overall - Hard to describe this one as it’s rather unusual. I liked it though, the bitterness seems to want to be overpowering but is always held back by the malts. It’s a very good beer
