33 cl. bottle @ ’t Waagstuk. BBF 18/03/2014. Sad pale golden very cheap pale lager look with only some soapy bubbles. Smell is soapy grains, some malts, slightly sweet, light grass. Taste is very reminiscent of a pale lager / pilsner, reminded me of something like Maes which is not bad considering the ABV I suppose. Lots of grains in the taste, metallic, some cardboard, plastic, malts, bitter grass finish, soapy grains. Body is bit high carb, light but not that much lighter than the standard BE pale lager / pilsner. I assume that they accomplished their goal of making a BE pilsner / pale lager @ 2 ABV that tastes like one at 4 ABV. Admirable in that way even if it is not per se something that I am really into.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Light body, light maltiness with a vague whiff of metal. Dry finish. Actually quite a decent and clean Belgian table beer, they’re often a bit of a mess. 161010

Ever so slightly yellow coloured fluffy head, some lace; orangey-goden beer. Very grassy & malty nose, rather dry. Dry, but with a slight grassy touch, but - rotting grass, not clean. Bit toasted finish. Very short ending, empty; near-fizzy. Not a clean taste; for the rest pretty average for a nablab.

Bottle Pale, blond body. White, frothy head, mostly diminishing. Nose of hops. Lightly bitter flavour. Watery body. A decent table-beer.
