Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Green with a small head. Sweetish with marzipan, cherries and some very light notes of wheat. Light and a bit strange to be honest. Still rather refreshing.

The color is neon green with a big nice greenish head. Let’s give the appearance credit for being so different. Aroma is Waldmeister syrup, and some hints of yeastiness and tartness. Taste is sweet thick Waldmeister syrup first, but there really is a tartness behind there and the finish is surprisingly dry. Lingering sweet Waldmeister taste. Fine-bubbled, but fizzy carbonation. Surprisingly good, very refreshing. I can understand why this mixture is considered a classic. Better and more fun than most Radlers.

My goodness. A GREEN beer served with a straw. Well I new about it but had never tried it as it should have been served before. I think it looks ok. It is what it is. A bit sweet and a bit to artificial pear stuff. Hmm it is supposed to be some herb from the forest. But I feel mostly artificial pear. The sweetness is though quite mellow and pleasant. Will surely try next time also.

Bottle shared by Sjogro. Oh my god, looks bright chemical fluorescent green with big light green head. Don’t really want to drink this. Lots of herbal candy notes, basil maybe, some dough in the background. Nasty. Medium sweet with chemical bitter finish. Lots of artificial sweeteners. Light bodied with prickly carbonation. Plain nasty.

0.33l bottle.
pours a hazy mint green with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma: candy, vanilla, cinnamon, plastic. flavour of sour candy, gooseberry. this is a radler, of course, not a beer. ok as a radler.

Bottle at home picked up at Beerahlle Deconick. Bright fluoro green coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. I think it looks pretty good. A bt artifical. Aroma is weird, green jolly ranger, lime and apple, poi perrie, sweet and sour. A little weird spicy thing on the nose. Flavour is composed of weird sour, dusty, grainy, baby sick sour, floral poi perrrie, cleaning product, sour and sicky sweet. Palate is dry and dusty, highish carbonation. Sarah couldn’t finish this. Good for a berliner weise tick and a rare drain pour.

33 cl bottle @ Die Butterhanne, Goslar as "Berliner Kindle Weisse Waldmeister". Bright green appearance (!). Aroma has very sweet fruit candy and sugar. Feels artifical. Flavour has salt, some artifical pear, sugar and sour cream. Sticky palate. Weird mix of sourness and sweetness. My first sweetened Berliner.

Bottle at home, from BeerMerchants, 30/05/15. Lime jelly green with a moderate off white covering. Nose is vanilla, straw, bitter citric peel, sweet and sour notes, light musty wood notes, sweet syrup. Taste comprises sweet candied apple, sugary, light tarte notes, candyfloss. Light body, fine carbonation, sweet close with a tarte edge, dentyne notes. Kind of refreshing to start with but soon became too sweet. Blurgh.

* Old rating, 0,33l-crown-top bottle, best before 12.06. 2,7%, Sehr süß und klebrig. Der Süßstoff mit dem Waldmeisteraroma dominieren das Bier, die Süße ist schon zu intensiv und klebrig. Lieber selber mischen...
