Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, chocolate, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, herbs, roasted malt, and chocolate, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head - comes a heavy gusher. Roasty nose, some dark fruit and quite a tart edge. Medium body, excessive carbonation, roast, vanilla and dark fruits. Ends dry. But clearly infected - if not to a spoiling degree. 230212

Murky, dark brown colour. Sweet malty aroma. Intense carbonation. Sweet caramel maltiness. Very warming feel. Far too much gas in this and the flavours don’t have a chance to settle and develop.

Muddy amber body. Off-white, lightly brown, creamy head. Nice nose of caramalts. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour with lots of caramel. Very well balanced and a nice complexity of crispy malts. Very refreshing because of the hops.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby colour with a light-brown and tall foamy head. Belgian-yeast character, fruity and spicy aroma with notes of cacao and cinnamon on a slightly roasted malty background. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly roasted malty base with berry-fruity notes and shades of cacao; slightly roasty bitter and sour-fruity finish. A strange but surely Belgian Porter. 24.VI.11
