500ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a foamy and lively head. Dried fruit, caramel and pine in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and moderately bitter taste with notes of toffee, nuts and grapefruit. Slightly tart. Not bad.

Bottle @ home shared with Joes and DutchDrebus. Unclear hazy orange, small white head. Smell fruity, bitter and hops. Taste hops, bitter, fruit and too much alcohol. Firm carbo, medium body.

Hazy dark golden with solid white head - hop aroma hits right away - taste is solid malt body to blance with a very good hop bitterness, that lasts for a long time into the finish - this was very good and enjoyable

Bottle at home from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Dark amber pour with a lingering smallish white head. Sweet malt, fruit and some muffled hop in the nose. Very sweet rather syrupy flavour with caramel malt dominating to the overall detriment of proceedings. ABV not particularly well masked. Hop bitterness not assertive enough for the style. Bit of a let down really.

Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy brown beer. Soft and semi dry palate. Flavour is a bit unusual. Smooth malt, sweetish mild hop and something that tastes very much like ginger. Palate becomes slightly syrupy towards the finish. Also has a subtle minty coolness. A bit different for a DIPA.

Bottle, batch 214. Pours a nice caramel amber, with almost no head. Very heavy, but pleasant aroma with notes of cherries, dark fruits and a hint of alcohol. Flavour is perfumed, hoppy bitterness, but not too much for such a heavy beer, and there’s a fruitiness giving a good balance. Finish is long, and pleasantly bitter.

Bottle, batch 323. Almost a gusher - then after pouring about half, it’s creeping out of the bottle. Murky amber with a huge white head. Slightly funky aroma with lemon and spices. Taste is has some yeasty sourness, caramel, peaches, sharp spices in a harsh bitter finish. A brash beer that I probably should have drunk rather later - have the impression that the right bottle at the right time would be a 4.5, but this is not it. Interesting beer.

Bottle. Poured hazy, dark orange with a thin head. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with some yeast as well. Flavor is sweet, malt and grapefruit and pine. Dry and fruity finish. Very nice Double IPA. Just the way I prefer it. Maybe a bit too sweet if I have to find something to complain about.
