Courtesy kiefdog. Pours copper with off white head. the aroma is mild with malts, yeast spices and with a big draw I get grapefruit rind and lemon-lime. The taste is smooth with modest levels of citrusy and spicy hops to go along with malty sweetness that carries around a light roastiness too. By midway citrus grapefruit and lime run this thing into the finish. Tasty product. A bit timid for the style.

Bottled (thanks T.M.). Slightly hazy reddish amber colour with mediumsized fluffy/bubbly beige head. Aroma is dark dry fruits, some sweet malts as well as mild notes of honeyish sweetness and alcohol. Flavour is quite much the same, but also has some slight nutty notes as well as some sweetness like burnt sugar, but not exactly it.

500ml bottle from De Molen. Hazy orange copper. Lasting beige head. Is this supposed to be funky and sour? Having spent 3 days in Belgium I just assumed everything smelt of Brett, but this did too. Really quite hoppy leafy and ascetic on the aroma. Really aggressive in the mouth. Some bretty sourness on the end. I mean hot peppery hops. Big, bold. Alcohol has just a hint of heat on finish. Bretty finish is really very good. Almost Orval like on the bretts. Bizarre. Not sure I like it, but it does deliver a huge amount of interest.

Bottled. A hazy reddish beer with a bubbly orangey head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, fresh citrus, malt, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, grapefruity hops, and other citrus fruits, as well as some notes of nuts, caramel, and wood, leading to a very bitter finish. Hm - maybe not my favorite hops?

Bottle @ Kloneo, thx Noize. Hazy golden colour, off-white head. Aroma is yeast and resin hops. Flavour is hoppy, orange peel, fruity. Very nice.

Oh, happy day! The combination of the beautiful orange amber colour, foamy head and the smell of fresh oranges and grain, with a hint of moist straw, reminds me of spring. The first happy days when the sun starts to warm your face after a long dark winter. The flavour is rounded, a mix newly juiced oranges, flowers and ginger. After the beer session 2.apr.09 I rushed to Vinmonopolet, Langnes to buy some more. (Thank you, Rune!)

hazy dark orange, very small film head. sweet malty and hoppy aroma, sort of like barley wine. flavor is hoppy, caramelly, sweet malty, flowery. the european hops probably what makes this a bit strange, but it’s still interesting and rather powerfull. three tiered balance between sweet malts, piny hops, and bitterhops. the bitterhops part is a bit dry, the other hops flowery and the malty flavor is sweet. also some spices. experimental and tasty.
