(Bottle at Delirium Cafe in Gothenburg) A bit shady orange color, white head. Typical Belgian ale scnet with a wheat beer twist. Boring taste, a bit sweet. Low bitterness.

(Bottle 25 cl) Hazy, pale amber colour with an impressive, almost shaving foam-like head which collapses very slowly. Malty, sweet and full-bodied with a slightly perfumy nose. Apparently this beer was developed by the students at the agronomical college in Gembloux! 061101

(Bottle 33 cl) Dirty, dirty beer - the kind that looks like Chinese river water. Lots of floaties, lumpy yeast underneath the frothy head. Really looks awful. Taste is a different matter: fruity and spicy with a pronounced sweetness and some late, light hops. Nice. 160396 and 260197

Bottled (BB 02/2007)
Hazy amber with a big creamy head. Aroma of yeast and banana. Quite thin bodied. Metallic, crisp, a bit sweet. Hides alcohol, but lacks all other flavors too.

Hazy orange color, huge creamy white head, lace. Aroma has fruityness and hints of balsamico. Soft mouthfeel, yeasty and hoppy finish with earthy and fruity notes. Quite standard, drinkable but not really unforgettable.

A hazy dark orange beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coriander, licorice root, oranges, peach, and hints of alcohol. The flavor is very spicy with notes of earth, coriander, cinnamon, and peach with the alcohol lying discretely in the background. The mouthfeel is very soft.
Earlier Rating: 6/29/2004 Total Score: 2.8
An unclear dark orange beerwith a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty and the flavor is very sweet and spicy with notes of oranges, but no complexity to cover the alcohol.

As brewed by Lefebvre Clear light-amber; stupendous white head, theoretically perfect lace, very stable to indestructible. Nutty, heavy malts in the nose despite its light colour. Quite some oxidation. Seem to get some ironoxide in the head (stabilisation?). Very nutty taste; hazelnut-butter, biscuit; woody-almondy retronasal. Quite creamy mouthfeel, well-bodied. the beer is obviously a bit aged (served in the pub). IMO that doesn't harm it a bit, but oxidation is not everybody's cuppa tea.
The Binchoise beer is blonde indeed, with a good pinkish head. Dull grains, some leafy features, spicy, bananapeel. Good carbonation, medium bodied.

Cloudy amber; nicely formed head; Aroma shows pepper, bread, apricot, brown sugar. Spritzy. Yeasty, malty, complex palate (peach, pear, pepper, styrians). Dryish finish - nice.

Pale amber colour, thick big head. Nice malt and hop aroma, wood cask. Nice warmth, but not very strong malt body, pretty dry; at least the hop is generous and quite strong, ending in a good palate.
