33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Citric, mild malty and yeasty aroma, semi dry impression. Semi sweet and yeasty flavoured. Dry and mild roasted malty with a distinct phenolic to estery note. Ends dry and mild malty.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a huge slight off-white head. Malty and quite spiced nose. Soft carbonated mouthfeel and quite alcoholic flavoured/bodied. Flavour is coriander, mild liqourice and ginger spiced. Ends spiced and malty sweet to dried fruity. Too spiced for my liking.

Bottle, pours light yellow with a slight haze, tall white head full of large bubbles. Citris and hop aromas are at the forefront with a little bit of yeast character showing through. Flavors start with a mellow sweet and sour malt twinge and turn to a bittersweet finish with a decent amount of hop presence. Has a nice bite in a relatively dry finish that is made even better with some alcohol burn. Overall, not a bad tripel.

Bottle: Poured a hazy copper yellow with a full thick off white cream head. The aroma was sweet with hints of fruit and caramel/spice. Sweet fruit with a candy like malt presence, finished a bit hoppy and rusty flavored.

Vintage 2002: Tasted Caorle, Italy: Unclear amber red/orange with white fluffy head. Sweet dried fruits & malts in the aroma - like a good port wine. Filling mouthfeel - soft. Nice lacings. Sweet sugar malty caramel/dark fruity flavor with a long lingering aftertaste/end. Wauw - the best Northern Italy had to offer me this summer!

33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Hazy old gold with thick off white head. Creamy, Belgian beer, good Belgian yeast aroma. Bit estery, some banana. Soft in mouth, spicey hop on finish. I liked it, good depth and character.
