Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, golden body under an off-white head leaving lacings. Fruity nose with white sugar, some hops and a decent amount of malty scents. Sweet and fruity flavor with some alcohol and bitterness. A bit low on bitterness I think. Medium to full body, quite effervescent. A quite decent beer with too much carbonation. 091127

Bottle. It pours an almost clear, golden body under a dense, off-white, finger-thick head. The aroma is fruity and herbal, with white sugar and hints of cellar. It’s medium bodied and almost sticky, with initial flavors of herbs, spices and malty sugary sweetness. The finish is gone almost before it arrives, and mostly sweet. Another too sweet Belgian beer, but sure drinkable. 091127

Bouteille 330ml.

Bottle, 8%. Hazy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is quite malty, has some rough malt though. Quite sweet, and with a distinct bitterness.
Earlier Rating: 2/2/2005 Total Score: 1.8
Aroma is malty, acidic with some unpleasant chemical pepperiness. Golden colour, unstable white head. The unpleasant chemical notes appear in the flavour also. Sweet, strange aftertaste, mouldy? Tastes a bit skunky, but I cannot believe that it is since I bought it at a good store. Almost 6 months over BB date, but that should not be it either. Anyway, by the look of the other ratings I got a dodgy bottle.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who got it in a trade with faroeviking (thanks!) Poured a hazy golden body with a medium-big white head that went away slowly. Quite dusty nose, notes of honey and grain. Sweet taste, sticky maltiness, some alcohol, acidic lemony hopiness carrying some bitterness too. Quite ordinary overall but ok.
