Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, citrus, floral and black pepper. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly dry, citrus, floral, pepper and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is fizzy.

SAMPLE at a tasting. Hazy straw, big fluffy head. Classic saison pale fruit perfume, followed by dry peppery and slightly alcoholic taste. Quite a bit of residual sweetness, after all. Very nice.

0.75l bottle. Hazy golden body, white head. Aroma of bread, hay, earth, lemon zest and floral hops. Taste of bread, hay, lemon zest, orange zest, pepper and grassy hops. Decent saison.

Update, february 2024: Dark golden in colour, quite hazy. Big and healty head with nice persistence and very good lacing. Quite intense aroma: a pretty light malty base, slightly fragrant/bready, hints of hay. Pretty strong, quite candy-like fruity notes of peach, pear, perhaps lemon, slight earthiness, maybe a hint of spiciness. Underneath it all, a quite vivid sugary foundation. Taste has a light crackery malts foundation, fruity notes as per aroma, again some earthiness (more vivid than in the aroma, perhaps a tad too high but overall ok per style) and a hint of grassy hops showing up in the finish. Medium sweetness, medium to low bitterness, a slightly sweetish mouth, a dry enough finish and aftertaste, still with a bit of residual (sugary) sweetness. Medium or slightly below medium body, vivid, quite dense/filling carbonation; a nicely lively but borderline soft mouthfeel. Overall: a pretty good, quite classic example of the style.

Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is peppery yeast, with wood and floral notes, as well as some cereals and honey. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dry peppery saison yeast, with wood and floral notes, as well as cereals and heather. Dry wooden finish.

75 cl. bottle, shared. Hazy, golden colour with a big, bubbly white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, yeasts, grasses, bread, oranges and peppery hints. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with yeasts, citrus and pepper. Lovely, classical Saison.

Golden color with a foamy white head with good retention and nice lacework. Aroma flowery notes, yeasty hints with some citrus; slightly acidic notes. Flavor is yeasty, notes of tangerine and light citrus, mild bitterness at the beginning with a light sweetness in the final. Yeasty mouthfeel.
