Cask @ No Sign Bar, Swansea. Dark amber pour with a massive head. Strong scent of gooseberry, lychee, nettles and fresh cedar. Taste is bitter-sour, a bit of twiggy dryness, a bit of posset. Doesn’t sound attractive when I describe it but actually quite scrummy. Lingering dry finish. A different take on the trans-Atlantic pale ale.

On tap @ Henrik. Also deep blurry dark orange one with all really good looking near everlasting creamy beige top. Not to exttreme on thei nose, some yeasty nuts, soft apples, pine any some wood reeds tones. Also bit strange but nice. Really nice flavors. It's almost herbal at first with her lots if grassy tones all these way. Above average on the carbonation and light oily in the mouth. Nuts, as little bit on chocolate wrapper, wood any more reeds. It's not like any IPA I've had before. Ends light sweet with lots on caramel. Tasty! 12.10.2013

Bottle. Almost clear amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon peel, herbs, grapefruit, biscuit, toast and caramel. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, tangerine, biscuit and caramel. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Too malty and dull.

330ml bottle from Urban Taphouse. Lovely resinous hop aroma continuing into the taste with a spicy, hoppy, caramel flavour and rounded off with a nice dry bitterness. Lovely stuff.
