330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 8.5%. Cloudy brown colour, big off-white head. Moderate aroma of brown malts and brown candi sugar, hints of Christmas spices. Flavour of brown sugar and malts, medium sweet, moderately spicy finish. Minimal hops. Nice enough, pleasant to drink, but maybe not exceptional.

Beige mid-sized head. Deep red body with light carbonation. Spicy fruity peppery orangey aroma with buttery delicate mint notes. Dry-sweet fruity herbal cardamom taste with orangey spicy toffee notes. Soft, mild, hot moufheel. Light, fluffy body. Dryish mealy strawberry herbal aftertaste with spicy buttery cinnamon notes. The fruity butter lingers for a good while. Excellent! Harmonic, delicate, and subtle. I really enjoyed this. (0.75l bottle, Vinmonopolet Lørenskog, Oslo.)

Bottle on 2008-11-21. Brown and very cloudy, almost porridge like. Medium sized brown head that contains little bubbles. Malts and chocolate in nose. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Lot of malts, chocolate, bitterness, little bit of salty liquorice and roastedness in taste. Long lasting aftertaste contaning lot of malts, some yeast and bitterness.

Had this at EBF Kobenhaven 12-09-08. Pours murky puddle brown in colour, nice and soft bubbliness in the mouth really quite Christmasy, with cloves, dried fruits, cinammon and actually all sorts going on. Not as spicy on the nose, alcohol starts to come through after a little while.

Bottled, thx to thewolf. Dark color, short head. Aroma of roasted malt, some caramel. Nice sweet roasted malty taste, slight fruity. Good balance. Not exploding in taste, but great stuff.
