A straight forwars belgium strong ale. Alkohol overtones that carries coriander, yeast, suger and saaz. Nothing to write home about but nothing wrong either. The best thing is the grassy bitterness the lingers through all the way.

0.33l 2010-bottle. A near clear copper body with a small bubbly and sidesticking just off-white head. It has a light sourness in the aroma, but also some candy sugar, bubblegum and both banana, Belgian yeast and strawberry-caramel tones. Not to Christmasy actually, but nice enough. Soft carbonation level and a mild oily mouthfeel. More bubblegum flavors, caramel, yeast and it ends really really mouthdrying. Glad I got the chance to try this one.

Dark brownish-red / dark amber color, beige head. Smell is sweet, like some sort of candy but I don’t quite know which. Decent taste, average carbo and medium body. Decent beer, but nothing really special.

(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm) Dark reddish amber colour with lasting beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, malty nose with caramel, wine gum, black-currant, marzipan and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, treacle and marzipan. Almost full body, quite sweet with fairly low bitterness (I usually expect lots of hops in beers from Raasted). Tasty and nice.
