It pours an amber/brown color with a white lumpy head that dissipates within seconds. What there is of the lacing slides down the glass. The smell has some roasted nuts and alcohol. The taste has some clove and the roasted nuts come back that seem to mix in with the hops for a good balance. The mouthfeel is about medium with the alcohol felt. Overall, this is good for me.

Medium pale tan head. Slight hazy amber body with carbonation. Malty strawy aroma with earthy toffee dusty notes. Dryish-sweet earthy toffee and caramel taste with fruity dusty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy dusty caramel aftertaste with orangey herbal spicy notes. Lovely, drinkable, vivid, and full of flavour and character. (0.355l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

35,5cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Hoppy and malty aroma with caramel and some fruity notes. Sweet, malty and a bit fruity with a nice and bitter finish with hints of spices and pine. Sweet, but well balanced. Quite delicious beer for the cold months up north.

355ml bottle at BrewDog Camden, shared with Finn. A cloudy amber coloured beer with a patchy surface. Dried fruity aroma. Malt-accented taste added by pumpkin fruit, lightly spiced. Rounded bitter sweet finish. Medium to full bodied. Not easy to drink. Satisfying (London, 06.11.2012).

Bottle @ Exira Beer Summit III. Thanks Jetson! Pours a fairly clear orangish brown appearance with an off white head. Light caramel, toasty malty, light fruity aroma. Slightly spicy, a bit juicy, light burnt toffee flavor with rich carbonation. Not a ton of flavor going on but not hard to drink.

Pale malts on the nose, hops, vegetal tones, light metallic notes, grains. Tastes of light caramel malts, citrus tones, medicinal tones, very light hops. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. On the dull side.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, dried fruit and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, a touch of roasted peppers and a spicy, citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Very nice.
