Aroma: The nose has some grassy hops, some pine, peach, caramel, and some other fruits notes as well
Appearance: Pours a burnt orange-amber color with an off-white head that leaves a nice amount of lace
Flavor: This beer has some medium sweet flavors that are well-balanced by a light-medium bitterness
Palate: This one drinks quite nicely, with a smooth, slick mouthfeel, a medium body, and no burn at all
Overall Impression: I like this beer. Really nice. Another flavorful and enjoyable offering from Southern Tier. This isn't the most complex or unusual beer out there, it's just a well-made and enjoyable brew. These guys know what they are doing.

(Bottle at Pikkulintu) Poured brown and clear with medium sized, white and long lastin head. Aroma was quite hoppy and somewhat roasty. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, hops, sweetness, lightly fruitiness, bitterness and some roastedness. Aftertaste was hoppy, roasty and bitter.

From tap at Ørsted Ølbar. Pours clear, golden deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is light peachy, mild orange fruity and grapefruity citrusy. SMooth peachy and light pinewood hoppy flavoured. Light maltbase with a light caramelish note. Lingering light grapefruity into the finish. Light peachy lasting impression. Lovely ipa.

Bottle @ Hj Hansen, Odense. Pours amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Aroma is hops, pine, some dust and herbs. Something not pleasing me. A vegetable like scent in the aroma. Taste is sweet toffee and caramel malty with a good amount of bitter floral hops. Smooth, sticky and chewy palate. Pleasant despite the earthy and vegetable like notes which is appearing in both aroma and flavor.

bottle - pours amber-orange with an aroma of citrus hops and caramel malt. The flavor has sweet caramel malt with some dark fruit notes followed by some good citrus accented hops. Pretty tasty. I would not have guessed it was as high as 8% alcohol. It didn’t blow me away but this is a solid cold weather brew.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Loved it. Pours a light brown with fine, white head. Nose is sweet malts and some piney hops. Up front the flavor is very malty, with notes of caramel and spice, and then subsides in a more hoppy, citrusy direction. Sweet and, at once, mildly bitter. Medium in body. Crisp finish with a little hop bite. A really interesting Winter beer that seems to blend styles, and blend them well.

Pours a semi-clear brown color with a small white head. Aroma is pine, hops, notes of sweet malts, touch of biscuit in the nose. Flavor is caramel, dried fruits, citrus. Happy to have a lower alcohol content than other Southern Tier beers, which makes it a beer that is not quite a session beer, but certainly approaches it.

Bottle: $1.70 at Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Deep amber brown with a small head. Sweet malts in the nose, toast, floral, roses, tea, fruit, lemon pledge. Sweet floral and malts in the mouth, tea, dried fruit, roses, lemon peel, and pine. Wow.
