Dark orange color with white head. Nice aroma of caramel and soft hops. Bitter finish. Classic English taste with nice residual sweetness. Very full and balanced for this ABV.

Clear, lively amber beer with a decent foamy head. Sweet citrus aroma. Flavour is tangy grapefruit, undercut by caramel and a sour, malty aftertaste. It’s really nicely balanced and if anything a touch too drinkable for the strength!

Bottle. Appearance is cloudy amber with a one-finger white bubbly head. Aroma- malty, caramel, vague hoppiness, fruity. Taste- malty and a bit creamy, toffee/caramel, hoppy, orange and hints of raisin, medium to full in the mouth, hardly any bitterness. Nice, doesn’t seem at all like 7.5%.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 14A adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch J.14.02. AROMA: no hop notes with sweet malt aromas reminiscent of caramel. very low fruitness. APPEARANCE: amber color and hazy. moussy tanned head with good retention. TASTE: medium bitterness that lingers into a dry finish with no hop flavours. unbalanced high malt flavours. PALATE: medium-light body with moderate carbonation. OVERALL: although the comercial description says it is a IPA, this beer is unbalanced towards a sweet malt profile but its not that bad.

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Hazy, dark orange. Plenty of thick, sticky, off white head. Nice, fusty maltiness. Light spice to match. Overripe orange. Taste is fusty sweet. Some spicy dryness. Palate is chewy, with enough carbonation to even things out. Finish is toffee sweet, before a lingering, spicy bitterness. Lovely stuff.

Nice foggy golden body but almost no head. Soft aroma of barnyard funk, cider, smells you don’t usually get from an IPA. Flavour is a lot of nut and malt with a strong hops and citrus finish. Good mouthfeel. A unique and refreshing take on an IPA.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit sehr viel Schaum. Geruch leicht malzig fruchtig, blumig. Geschmack leicht fruchtig malzig, dezent herb, wenig exotisch fruchtig, dennoch gut trinkbaren Bier.
