Wrapped in a red cloak, this aromatic and complex beer reveals a scent of spice, orange and malt, followed by caramelized notes and a finish as hot as dying embers.

It evokes the Quebec legend of La Chasse-galerie – or flying canoe – which tells the tale of men who would risk anything for a night of fun, even making a pact with the devil.

14/09/2016 rate 4/3/4/2/7=2 F: big, off-white, good retention. C: deep amber, hazy. A: lambic style, sour tones, fruits. T: malty, sour tones, banana, dried fruits, medium body, good carbonation, may be not good to rate this but for this beer style such things should not happen, 341ml bottle from Eat Brussels 2016 festival. Update 15/12/2016, 341ml bottle from Christmas market in Brussels. F: big, off-white, good retention, C: dark brown, hazy. A: malt, caramel, molasses, yeast, fruity esters, banana, peach. T: malt, fruity esters, yeast, peach, spicy, dried fruits, hint of boozy, medium to full body, high carbonation, yes very tasty but to high carbonation is a little disturbing.

Shared BOTTLE 341 ml. Dark red, big light beige with low retention. Baked apples with hint of nuts, sugar and alcohol. A bit straight forward. Sugar, cooked fruit, some heat, no hops. Kinda simplistic - sugar and booze.
