Draught at The Jeffrey, 1/1/16.
Light blonde body topped by a small ring of bubbles. Light bit of haze.
Soft, musty, funky Brett, appleskin and various farmyard notes. Good peppery phenols and lots of rather bland tannin dampening the brightness somewhat. Otherwise, clean and interesting with well-developed fruit and yeast notes.
Tart and gently fruity with more skin and flesh and low sweetness. Strong pepper, tannin and lightly tart Brett aren’t powerfully flavorful and the lower carbonation and light body suggest a more easygoing, session-like cider. Some more musty, funky notes linger. If they could can this and have it available in literally every god damned store and bar like all the shitty "craft" ciders are, I’d be all over it.

Draft at Max’s Taphouse. Very hazy pale xolor. No head. Aroma is classic Dupont with bitter and tart apple skins, some spoiled apple, lots of apple funk. Flavor has a strong citric tartness cutting right through it, dries out the palate. Can pick out some dry apple skins but it’s jy st mostly strong tartness with a drying skins finish. My first Dupont Cider on draft.
