Oh, I smell smoked malt, light but there. Roast and light cocoa. The flavor loses the smoked but has unacidic roast. Smoother body with a light finish.

On tap at Payette, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out smoked malts, some roast and toasted notes. Flavour is pretty smoky and fruity, with toasted malt and earthy notes. Medium-bodied and smoky.

On tap at Bittercreek. Certainly doesn’t present it’s as an imperial porter. Dry, earthy, more roasty than sweet. Nice slick feel. Elevated ABV becomes noticeable much further down the path. Relatively drinkable.
