bottle@Kulminator - where else? – clear amber coloured with a beige head which quickly disappears, never to be seen again, taste is very sweet and slightly cloying with caramel, maple syrup, aged hops, medium booze (it is boozy but not in a straight up alcohol kind of way), sticky malts, hint of sherry, body is nicely sticky but not quite cloying, not bad, this is exactly in line with what Dirk the owner of Kulminator likes (strong & sweet beers)

Bottle. Malts, malts malts. Aroma, sweet mild malts. Flavor, sweet mild malts. Alcohol hidden quite well, especially for 11%. Touch of caramel notes, that’s about it. Inoffensive, highly drinkable for what it is, but nothing else really pops out of this one.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Thickish palate. Darkly sweet. Rich fruity undertone. Slightly spirity aftertaste. Okay but heavy going.

Cashew nose. Clear amber, thin yellow head. Oaky orange and apricot flavor. Cloying. Alcohol magnified, drinks very hot. Poster child for flavorful but unpleasurable. I just have a hard time finishing a single 12 oz. bottle fo this.

Pours nice rusty, deep orange body with fizzy head. Harsh Brutal alcohol feeling, sweet oily texture. I cant enjoy this, because of the overwhelming alcohol. This beer is too strong for me.

Bottle at Jimmy’s no. 43 during the Lovullo Bock Tasting Session. Pours ruby-amber with a small, white head. Heavy caramel malt aroma, with some pilsner. Super sweet flavor, loads of caramel and sugar. Sticky and sweet in the finish. Body is full and carbonation is average. Potent beer.
