Sample at the Blarney Wine tasting on 03/16/2013: Hazy orange-yellow color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, malt and wheat. Full-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, wheat, grapefruit a bit of spice. The finish is malty and herbal. Decent overall.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Floral, light orange citrusy, straw aroma. Tangy, grapefruity, orange fruity, bready, wheat malty, a touch boozy flavor. A bit dull, slightly fruity, but fairly boring flavor. For the high abv, it is fairly smooth.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Rich malt and light honey aroma. Rich malt and toffee flavor with light honey. Medium bodied. Rich malt and light toffee lingers with light earthiness.
