Bottle at Oakes' Manor
Brown colour. Earthy, shallow, a bit sour (infection?), and no bourbon character.
Pretty bad.

Clearish brown with a small beige beige head. Molasses and nail polish. Soured notes, nail polish and a long finish.

341ml @ Josh's place. Appearance: a bit hazy copper with a beige head. Aroma: glue, some nail polisher, some weird herbals, a bit fruity. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: not good.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with burnt caramel and crusty bread. Flavour is rather tart, with bready malt, toasted caramel and not whiskey. There's some glue and nail polish that doesn't sit right. That tartness can't be intended, can it? It's alright, but clearly quite flawed.

Bright, dark amber. No head. A bit tart, some deep fruity. Whacky, a bit messy, sourish dark beer without a lot of character that I'm thinking about. I don't like it much.
