Ruby in colour, with rich copper hues. Hop driven aromas of currant & pear, rounded on the palate with a toasted malt character, light fruitiness & a balanced bitter finish.

Taster at Australian Beer Festival. More red than amber. Great depth from the hops. Sweet finish, great quencher.

Bottle. Deep clear amber with a light beige head. Rich aroma of sticky bread crusts, ripe tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine. Lightish bodied, medium high carbonation. Not as malty as suggested by the aroma but there’s some bread and caramel. The hops come through with ease and there’s tropical fruit, pine, grapefruit and some onion at the moderately bitter finish. Pleasant but a bit forgettable.

On tap at 4 Pines, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a good mix of roasted malt and bready malt. Flavour brings out toasted bready malt and dry hopping on the back side. Not especially interesting, but it's solid.
