Do not open ‘til Christmas? Whoever coined that phrase obviously hasn’t tasted Christmas Ale’s fresh honey, cinnamon, and ginger flavors.

Deep amber brown color. Big consider ginger, cranberries, oranges malty, slightly sweet nose. Sharp, probably connected ginger and oranges, cinammon. Malty mouth. Lingering cinnamon and ginger finish.

Pours a dark, reddish-brown, with minimal head. Aroma is bursting with spices, ginger, etc. Flavor also dominated by the spices. Not sure this is really my thing...

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Golden orange color with a medium-sized head. Aromas of cinnamon, ginger and pine cones all present on the nose. Fairly well balanced if not malt forward. Medium body with average carbonation. Nice peppery and spiced finish.

Honey, cinnamon, golden grahams cereal aroma. Clear copper, thin head. Strong honey and kibble flavor, slight cardboard, even more subtle cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. No more spicing than you would want. Nice underlying base beer and not some random garbage.

12 oz bottle. Poured a amber/copper color with a medium sized whitish color. Aroma was light hops, citrus, grassy notes, with light, pleasant spices. A nice light hop, citrus notes. Pleasant spice character. Enjoyable.

Draft, just 2 weeks ago. From notes. Loads of caramel and baking spices. Just wondering if this is fresh of "vintage" from last year. Either way, it’s still good.
