Saint Petersburg is a fabulously full bodied chocolatey, malt flavours with coffee finish combine to produce a great Imperial Stout.

Bottle. Dark, heavy chocolate dominates the aroma; also noticeable some hops. Black colour, nice brown head. Medium bitterness. I like that the beer is not sweet, not cloying, without ash feeling, really smooth in mouth. Very good one.

Bottle: Nose is liquorice with red currents a little smoke and very slight chocolate. Taste leads with strong smoke and slight cola, to liquorice, treacle, and a rich dark chocolate finish with interesting herbal notes which stop it being claggy. mouthfeel is a little light for the style but OK. A delicious beer which is let down by the nose being lightweight.

Keg, Local Taphouse, Sydney. Dark brown. Earthy, chocolatey, leafy hop nose. Deep, weedy, lightly fruity (pear, grapefruit) character. Really nice beer, kind of a hopped-up foreign stout. I had this a few times during my stay in Sydney.

500 ml bottle from john’s. Pours a jet black color with a medium beige head. Smoke, nuts and chocolate in the nose. The flavor is big sweet glue like nutty malts. Roast. Light metal and coffee. Excellent. Lighter for an impy. Very British.

Aromat czekolady troche palonego slodu. Wygląd to czarna intensywna barwa, nieprzezroczysta ze spora i trwala piana jak na imperial stouta. Bezowa i gesta. W smaku subtelne nuty palonego slodu, gozka czekolada i przypalony lekko tost.
