While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma in Size 7 more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Northwest style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced we’ll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack).

Draft at Steel Toe. From notes. Citrus and earthy floral hops with a solid malt backbone to balance it out. Enjoyable.

22oz bottle shared with Anndiesel. Hazy, unfiltered orange-apricot color. Frothy, steady white head. A pretty classic US IPA, well done, with just a pinch more hop character that throws it over the top. Rather clean for the style, very nice citrus and melon hop tones. Really grew on me as I sipped at it. Subtle hop decadence, remains drinkable, great beer. This beer should be in sixpacks.

22 oz. bottle, seen from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Nose is quite subtle, full of piney hops and some floral notes. Flavour brings out loads of pine cones, floral hops, a little grapefruit rind and a thin crackery malt backbone. Very hop forward, with a highly astringent finish. Dry palate, dominated by shitloads of pine. Despite the high astringency, this is a pleasure to drink. Great stuff.

Bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A light sweet nose with lemons and caramel. A really nice flavor with big balance between light biscuit and caramel malts, rich citrus and low bitterness, apricot and tangerine. Really smooth and clean.

Bottle thanks to Kyle. Shared at tasting at my house. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of perfumy hops, resin, pine, citrus and caramel malt. Finishes with bitter hop bite. Dryish. Medium body.

Very nice IPA from a local brewery. Pours a relatively clear golden yellow with nice sized, lasting head. Aroma full of fresh hops. Flavor is a good strong combination of bitter hops with citrus and a fairly smooth, sweet finish. Worth a try.

Thanks to Steasy66 for the trade! Pours clear gold with a sticky white head. Fresh citrus hop aroma. Well balanced flavor, the bitterness is firm and only gives way to some dryness at the end of the finish.

Received in trade as an extra from Urbancaver, thanks for the opportunity Cam! Pours a crystal clear deep amber color with a good sized bone white head that persists forever and streaks the sides with lots of sticky lace. Earthy herbal minty piney citrus bread and caramel aromas abound, its definitely got that old school IPA feel to it. The flavor is caramel and sweet bready malt with enough earth and citrus to provide a fair amount of balance. A touch of ethanol reminds me this is 7%. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Nice IPA, I’m glad I got to try it.
