Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Clear pale golden, small head. Fruity nose with some syrup. Sweet with medium body and rounded, syrupy mouthfeel. Syrup, ripe fruit and some booze. Pretty non-descript.

Can. Crisp light yellow with small foamy white head, yeast aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish taste, abrupt finish. Certainly not "premium" as advertised, not even close.

Went to crappy bodega across the street to buy a Guiness to celebrate St Pattys then I saw this gem and needing the malt liquor tick grabbed it. Pours golden with white head. Nose is of butter and deli meat. Tastes of corn, butter, metallic, and decomposition. Palate is fair and finishes sweet and of chemicals.

Dark yellow 2 finger creamy white head. the aroma is straight up adjuncts with a little caramel. Wow, this is straight up terrible. just like crappy rice-wine and some rotten fruits.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light yellow color with a fast rising carbonation trying to fill a rapidly dissipating foamy head. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had a sweet corn /slightly toasted cereal maltiness.
The taste was mainly sweet through the corn.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and came across somewhat creamy smooth.
Overall, this is your basic American malt liquor, nothing special and nothing bad.

Similar to Molson Hi-Dry in that people drank this to get hammered when I was in high school. Among metalheads the XXX and black+silver branding were a big hit, the taste not so much. But hey you were drunk faster & had to drink less of the stuff so that’s good isn’t it?

25.4 oz can: Pours clear gold with an active white head. Scent is lemon, grain. Sweet corn taste...creamy and metallic. A little honey, malt. Not bad for the style, but it IS still a malt liquor.

12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Leesburg. Skunk emanates from the brown bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grainy malts, mild grassy hops with even milder mint and tinny notes. The taste is grainy malts, tinny hops. Medium bodied, really rough.

lacquer-like flavor of malt liquor. Strong but not too overpowering like others. Still not entirely pleasant.
