Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Floral hops, biscuity malts, a touch of citrus fruit, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Håndpumpet half pint på Anglesea Arms, South Kensington: standard utseende og aroma for en lett bitter, med grei men ikke spesielt minneverdig smak av lys citrus og litt gress. Forsiktig bitterhet i avslutningen, halvtørr.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Magna Carta Real Ale Festival 2015) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, fruitiness, malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A tasty hoppy bitter.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 10/01/15 - one of those ’didn’t realise I’d not rated this beer’ moments - that I’ve had a fair few pints of in the past! Clear golden with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is light florals, bready malt, lemon peel, straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, more bready maltage, sweet tones complementing the bitterness, dried apricots. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings and a floral wash. Decent bitter and in good nick.

Gravity cask at the Duchess of Cambridge - London. Pours clear gold with a mild, foamy white head. Lots of tangy citrus in this one, some grainy pale bread, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Moderate sweetness on the finish with slight hay bitterness. Nothing special.

cask@Pratts and Payne, Streatham, London - Amber pour with decent off-white head. Hoppy and clean malty aroma and taste, with herbal/floral nuances. Nice bitter finish. Decent enough.
