Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Fruity aroma of wheat, yeast, banana and a hint of citrus. Sweet and fruity with a lightly sour finish. Quite pleasant, a bit weak in flavour, but very drinkable.

Flaske 0,355l fra ICA Stakkevollan. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Høyt luftig skum. God sitrusaroma. Smaken brukbart fyldig: Sitrus & krydder. Blir veldig søt etterhvert.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours clear golden with one inch head that dies down. Some lacing, medium/light body, and light carbonation. Taste is light clove, some light banana, and a hint of sourness. Looks to be filtered, more of a session beer, just average.

I thought maybe Flying Dog could do the trick of making a good weizen that I could honestly enjoy! Too bad. Again a brewer failed to make it to the other side in my opinion. Just another weizen, I just don’t smell or taste anything new. Always malty, wheat, grains and a dull boring taste.

It tastes pretty much like a hefeweizen, so they did a good job with that. Hefeweizen is not my favorite style.
