Tap at the brewpub. Deep orange-golden color, very cloudy. Malty nose, diacetyl, bit of orange. Too much diacetyl, and not enough hops to cover it, biscuits, sweet, creamy, also a bit of tart orange. Not terrible, but doesn’t work with all that diacetyl.

Served hazy golden color, topped with a nice white head. Little malts in the nose, some bready notes as well. Taste is sweet, fruity with mild breadiness and very moderate bitterness. Decent and refreshing.

tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head leaving lacework. Intensive, lovely aromatic floral hop aroma. Light and elegant malty base with lots of aromatic hops with hints of hay, freshly-mown lawn, herbs and a floral touch. Smooth and velvety palate, a touch fo yeast is present. Perfectly balanced. I could drink this all night. Surprising, how tasty a simple Helles can be - this is pure delight.

Appearance: Hazy pale golden color with a fine white head that ends up in a white laver. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Grainy and mild hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Grainy, grassy and mild hoppy.
Overall impression: Decent thirst quencher if you have walk all around Vienna. A bit to grassy for me.
Personal stats: On tap @ source

At the Brewpub. Very hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is soft to dry with fine carbonation. Fresh! Mild minerals. Semi dry malt with a whisper of something fruity before a crisp finish. The freshness carries this otherwise bordering-on-bland beer.

300ml vom fass at the brewpub. Shared with Frau Eva. Golden body, slightly cloudy. Dissipating white head. Dry sweet hoppy aroma. Sweet fruity aroma with notes of pale malts. Slightly watered and rather anonymous (Wien, 28.07.2012).

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy golden body with small head. Typical lager aroma of bread malt and herbal hops. Fine, but watery flavor, slightly sweet bready, a bit grainy and dry herbal. Yeast is only slightly felt despite it’s unfiltered. A bit softer towards the end, pleasant smoother finish. Thin in body. More like a premium lager or a light pilsener than a helles, had shown some qualities but it didn’t turn my wheels.
