The St. Sebastiaan Dark is a dark, medium to heavy high fermented abbey beer that tastes both sweet and bitter on the tongue. This St. Sebastiaan has a strong, sweet aroma of caramel and malt and gives you a full taste in the mouth. It is re-fermented on the jug and on the bottle by the brewery. The result is a nice, clear beer with a wonderful aroma and, for those who love it, a nice touch of yeast at the bottom of the bottle.

very dark brown pour, head wasnt very large, i think this bottle might be a bit past its prime. carbonation is VERY low. aroma of sweet malt, and a slight sweet/sourness. Flavour is almost that or port wine, its kinda sour, but sweet, with some dried fruit in the background, very interesting.

cearamic swingtop bottle, capped. dark brown, brown head. medium strength aroma dominated by brown cakes, dark malts, dark caramel. not much yeast character in the aroma. Flavor is very nice, nutty, chestnuts, darker malts. A decently flavoured rather mild dubbel.

0.75 bottle Smell- weak malt, roast. Foam- thin, weak roast, weak sourness, kvass, bread. Feels like weird kvass. Head is large, medium-dark brown white color. Appearance - generic red bottle cap, somewhat simple label.Very dark brown, maybe bit red, medium carbonation. From - snifter Taste - roast, weak sourness, bread, kvass again, weak bitter notes, acidic. This is very weird in a bad way... feels like kvass mixed with hops and some added sourness and nuances of homebrew. Not for me.
