Bottle.Gusher which took quite some time to settle down, Musty, sour barnyard aroma. Hazy brown with a huge tan head. Funky sour fruit, wet straw/grassy bitter flavor. Medium body, dry finish.

I guess I ought to re-review this beer. Had it too many times at CCB, but this one is reviewed from a bottle bought at Delirium Hoppyloft Brussels. Light gusher.

Bottle thanks to HOPSHUNTER. Cellared since July 2011. The name makes me think of a movie reference. “Kick his ass, Sea Bass!” Slow pour into snifter produces enormous amounts of head. After 5 minutes of waiting, still showed large, fluffy foam. Muddy brown color with red highlights. Aromas are wet oak, bretty funk and vinegar. Balsamic notes with wood, with strong tart notes and some funky yeast. Flavor has more tartness without a lot of puckering. Medium to full body, with a mild bitterness hidden toward the finish. Balanced real well and a must try if you like the style. Solid.

Bottle: Poured a dark color ale with a huge dirty beige foamy head with excellent retention and some great lacing. Aroma of tart notes is more powerful then I had expected with some funky yeast and some light spices. Taste is a weird mix between light balsamic notes with some wood and a subtle vinous feel with strong tart notes and some funky yeast. Body is slightly above average with great carbonation. Very interesting beer with a mix between lightly roasted malt and balsamic vinegar.

Bottle at Craft Beer Co., RBESG 2011. Fruity cherry, citrus, dust, light caramel in the nose. Big airy body, that expands strangely once in the mouth. Sour flavor of caramel, cherry, nice, dusty, and dry finish after sweet fruits. Explosive carbonation.

bottle shared: dark brown with a hint of bordeaux, off-white head, strong malt presence, tart red grapes, barnyard funk, small hint of red wine vinegar & redcurrants, tart cherries, leather, hint of wood, minor tannins, slight sweetness, surprisingly close to the taste of Flanders Red Ale but more tart than sour compared to the other examples I have tried in the style, way lesser amount of vinegar, fizzy carbonation, surprisingly very full, malt-based body, nice
