Great thanks to joes for sharing. Very dark beer, smells sour and tastes sour in a wrong way for me. A weird experience. Glad to have tasted this one though, pretty special.

750 ml bottle, from Høkeren, Copenhagen. Dark brown hazy colour, low off-white head. Funky aroma, some malts too. Funky flavour, medium sour. The carbonation "grows in your mouth".

Thanks to Joes for sharing; had this bottle with Joes, Countbeer and DutchDrebus. Hazy brown, little red color. Smell sour, wood, hints of spices. Taste is very sour, light liquorice. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy and powerfull sour aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter nice sour flavor. Creamy palate.

Holzig-säuerlicher Antrunk mit Kirschakzenten. Im Mittelteil wirkt die Säuerlichkeit platter, büßt an ihrer Frische aber nichts ein. Die Säuerlichkeit ist dabei auf einer angenehmen Stufe und gut verträglich, daneben ist nur noch das Malz wirklich präsent, das immer unter der Säuerlichkeit steht. Herber zum Ende, kurz scharf. Süffig, dunkel, gelungen. Vergleichsweise schneller Abgang. 10/9/11/10/6/11

Sample at the Sour Village / CCB Tasting on 05/20/2011. Thanks to JaBier for bringing a bottle back from FL. Poured as several Dumb & Dumber quotes were recited, the beer is a reddish-brown color with a medium thick light beige head that dissipates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sour fruit, caramel malt and hay. Medium body with flavors of brett, dark fruit, caramel and yeast. The finish is somewhat tart with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Red copper with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit and berries with a touch of oak. Sweet and tart fruit and caramel flavour, could get a bit cloying

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, May 2011. Pours dark unclear amber with a fluffy white head. Vaguely tart and nutty nose and flavor. Sweet malts - caramel and hints of vinegar and oak. Acidic flavor with notes of red wine and caramel. Good.
