bottle, pours hazy orange with a medium off white head. Heavy aroma of dried granny apple, apricot and yeast. Light malt and a sweet and sour fruity element that fades to a nice dry hop and what I think is the mustard seed. Actually quite nice, as most Regenboog beers are. Lots of complexity and enough going on to keep it interesting, yet very easy to drink.

The best mustard seed beer I have ever tasted. Musty dry spice with a bitter finish. Worth trying. Pair it carefully, no hot dogs.

Pours dirty dark gold straw with off white head. The aroma is sweet sugar, some spice and then mustard mixing in too. The taste is much the same with sweet sugar, sweet malts, sweet dark fruity esters, some mild spices and then light amounts of mustard and hops. Nice brew. It could really use more mustard to bring about a more interesting beer. As is, the mustard is just faint and deep in the background.

(Bottle at Hilpeä Hauki on 2008-09-15) Amber. Hazy. Medium sized white head that disappeared quickly. Hops, mustard, malts and yeast in nose. Medium to full bodied dry palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Yeast, salty liquorice, bitterness, sweetness and fruitiness in taste. Fruity and bitter aftertaste. Hints of mustard in aftertaste.

From tap at YNWA. Pours murky brown with a lacing white head. Mustard and caramel to yeasty aroma with a light acidic/citric touch. Flavour is sweet caramelish with a light yeasty note and a mild mustard note. Mild acidic and estery with a distinct fruity note. Sweet caramel-ish finish.

Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje. Interesting dijon aroma. Hazy amber color with a fluffy beige head. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Herby dijon flavor over medium caramel.Finishes quite dry with a dijon flavor staying around. Quite different.
