Ruby red, Gordon Finest Red astonishes with its inimitable and pronounced fragrance. Its darkly tinted colour matches its fiery temperament. Neither brown nor pale, it is reminiscent of sumptuous Scottish landscapes, falling asleep with the sheep in the dusk, as the sun sets over the never-ending Highlands. Gordon Finest Red, round and REDoubtable by nature !

clear mahogany colour, one inch of creamy ecru head, which lasts for quite a few minutes; aroma of dried cherry, some prune, hints of dark chocolate and some rye bread(crust); taste of dried fruity (cherry and prune) (bitter)sweetness, toasted rye bread, syrupy notes and slight roasted nuts; if it is really a lager, it is quite good

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianco sporco media grana evanescente, colore ambrato carico limpido, al naso esteri frutta matura, in bocca malto caramello, leggero solvente, corpo leggero, alcool troppo in evidenza, carbonazione leggera, dolce con amaro moderato. Cosa sto bevendo?!….. c. Unes Maccagno. 30.10.20

Vastly underrated beer. Biere de garde style. Malty and caramel, but not too sweet, balanced with the alcohol, which is present but not overbearing. Rare kind of beer, super low bitterness, love it. Online belgian beer factory

6,6% on the label. Bottle from Dortmunder: thanks! Reddish brown color. Apple and some plastic in the aroma. Grainy flavor with apple, grapes and plastic. Somewhat vinous. Not worth a second try. I wouldn’t be surprised, judging from the label, if this beer was brewed by Bavaria Lieshout.

Can, 0.50l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, dandelion syrup and flowers. Pours clear ruby amber color with medium sized creamy tan-like head and flat visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet caramel, following is syrupy, honeyish and very mild fruity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not for Gordon of eden...
