Bier gebrouwen met tarwe- en gestemout levert een fruitige, kruidige smaak en een romige schuimkraag. Brouwers Weijzen heeft extra hop voor een bijzondere touch.

Huge, ultra-dense and fine lightly yellowish head over fully hazy orange-amber beer. Fresh yeast, autumn leaves, (malt)sugars, wheat, orangepeel, bit of banana and even some hops to smell. Bitterish for an instant, then very fruity-sweetish; orange, banana, nutmeg. Quite slick, yeast-filled, good carbonation. Decent Weizen, strangely enough without a trace of clove/1.4 vinyl guaiacol.

Bottle from an AH in Ghent. Pours clear dark golden with a big, lasting, foamy, off-white head; little lacing. Aroma of yellow apple, apple sauce, green banana, apricot, white bread, orange peel, coriander, wheat, faint lemon zest. Medium fruity sweet onset, balancing estery banana & apple; light wheaty sour in the middle, a bit lemony, medium spicy bitter too with faint clove, coriander; bready & yeasty touch. Dry, spicy finish, faint peppery hops, lingering slick fruitiness. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Perfectly acceptable 'commercial' Hefeweizen.

Bottle shared by Inoven. A bit hazy yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste wheat, lightly banana, lightly citrus notes in the distance and lightly sweet. Very standard, but no flaws if you ask me. Looks weird for a weizen but otherwise, well, drinkable beer. Ok. (Don't get the extra hop that's supposed to be in there though)

Flesje gedeeld met Benzai. Gelig troebel bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Aroma van hooi en framboos. Ook de smaak van framboos komt naar voren. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Hazy dark orange colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour indicate that this is very much in the German style. Light banana sweetness. Not particularly flavoursome but not bad for a supermarket beer.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een licht troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat gistachtige geur. De smaak is moutig en banaan achtig.

Bottle @ home. Light amber colour with a medium sized, dense white head. Smells brown banana, sweet, wheat. Tastes some banana, wheat, sweet. If I was a hefeweizen fan I'd probably would be offended about something, but as someone who isn't a huge fan of the style I must admit it's pretty decent. There are no annoying aromas or anything. Colour isn't too pretty, but that's not the most important part anyway. Also: marketing teams all over the Netherlands should stop putting "extra hop" on every beer ever.
