[50cl bottle from the Calveley Mill Cheese Shop] A bright pale amber pour with a thin white head; candied citrus aroma; biscuity taste; and a grassy bitterness. A typical summer ale.

Bottle from Waitrose. Golden in colour, with moderate carbonation and a slight, white, head. Stone fruits, some ripe, slightly grainy, malts and a touch of leafy hop. Finish was semi-bitter. So so.

Cask at City Tavern, Chester (not listed in RateBeer) Has a lot of lemon in the nose. Pours pale straw with a good white head. Clear but slow to settle. In the mouth it is mainly lemon, but also oranges and grass cuttings with biscuit undertones. A dry lemony finish. Inoffensive and swiggable.
