Bottle thanks to Sarah! Poured a clear caramel amber with a tan head that lasted and laced. Aroma had a caramel note with smooth grain and an alcohol backing. Flavor was smooth with grain and had a smooth caramel note as well. There was a bit of spice as well with a bit of backing alcohol.

Draft @ Hackney’s, Chicago, IL. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with bitter hoppy hints. Has a slightly roasted and very malty caramel finish with bitter hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Bottle with a best buy of 11/18/09 thanks to thirdeye11. Large off-white head, hazy orange body. Earthy, caramel, orange, dusty cocoa. Taste is bitter, tangy, burnt caramel. Creamy carb.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of alexsdad06. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish copper color with a large tan creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is bready and doughy with fairly strong hoppy notes and some nutty notes. Taste is bread, caramel, bitter leafy hops and faint berry-like fruity notes in the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

Aroma: Aroma of sweet grapefruit and caramel, some floral hops and herbs
Appearance: Pours a dark reddish-orange color with a fluffy white head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet with that hop bite that gives its name
Palate: This one has a nice finish to go along with the medium body
Overall Impression: Cleverly named and quite tasty, the Nosferatu is a good beer with a sweet, flavorful early profile and a big hop bite to round out the finish. Enjoy this one, even during daylight.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark orange-brown color with a large beige head that lingered and produced great lacing. The aroma was pineapple, grapefruit, lemon and tobacco. The flavor was tangy and tart with strong grapefruit, pineapple, wood and tobacco and had undertones of bread and caramel. The finish was long with tobacco and pineapple lingering. Intensely boozy. Thick and full body.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours dark ruby copper with a one finger fine beige head. Lots of grassy/floral hop over rather roasted malt for aroma. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is lots of roast malt with lots of hop. It’s a confusing mix of hop. It’s bitter. It’s floral. It’s grassy. It’s other things. Including absolutely delicious. Absolutely.

courtesy of sirpsycho. Bottle received had a good ’til date of Oct’ 06. Pours murky orange with light brownish head. Aroma was a mix of malty and floral hops with strong grainy nose. Taste had significant dose of caramel malts and not much of hops to be noticed. Don’t know what to think of this one, wish I had a newer bottle to get a better idea.

Bottle courtesy of Chris on 01/15/2011 at the 13th Richmond Gathering. Clear reddish brown body with a small tan head. Sweet malt and light bready aroma. Sweet bready and toasty malt flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/7/3/14 - 3.4 Bottle on 12/13/2008. Clear dark brown body with ruby highlights and a medium frothy tan head that persists. Big citrus and resiny hop aroma with a sweet caramel background. Big caramel and citrus hop flavor with light resiny notes in the background. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 8/4/8/3/16 - 3.9

Bottle at home Thanks to Jsquire for this Nice Crisp copper ... sweet vineous nose ... very caramel malty front ... more bitter than expected ... big floral hoppyness ... good depth ... medium carbonation ... medium body ... Goes well with the strong Cheddar as recomended by jsquire... Beer tips with the Trade top bloke.
