Bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen and Papsoe. It pours a reddish dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Roasted malts, licorice and some dried fruits in the aroma. A bit thin on the palate, with roasted malts, licorice, dried fruits and coffee in the flavor. Roasted finish. A quite decent one, typical English. Easy drinkable and tasteful. 100814

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of rosted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt as well as a bit of wood, leading to a dry and lightly acidic finish.

Bottle, 4.6%. Weak vinous aroma. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. The flavour is roasted with a hint of fruity hop flavour. Hard roasted malts, especially in the finish. Clean and nice.
