We used Particle Physics to manipulate Photon, and turn theoretical physics into reality. We took Photon, upped the ABV to 5.5%, and hopped it at the rate of the fractal series with a citra forward Hop bill. The result is an intensely hopped but low ABV crushable American Pale Ale. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of dank apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits and hop resins. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel with a disappearing finish that has made this the new go to pale ale for the Equilibrium crew, especially now that the warm weather is season is upon us.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: bright yellow cloudiness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy, piney, lemony, light pineapple-y and a little bit of tangerine hoppy parts; light clean malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas from a bittersweet semi-juicy vibe to a sweet quality; finishes piney and lemony with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness and a little bit of hop assertiveness, nothing overbearing
Overall: I say nice enough NEPA worthy of coming back to.

Pours a lightly hazy, pale lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is pretty dank, with some citrus and tropical fruit, plus a touch of saison-like spice. Flavors follow, including the rusty water/saison touch. Mouthfeel a touch on the thin side. More than a little hop bitterness in the finish.

Pours murky deep gold into a shaker. Sickly white head recedes leaving scant sheets. Tangerine aromas. Soft with dried apricot, overripe peach fuzz and dirty fruit skin front to back.

Cloudy, dingy orange-brown body, medium off-white head. Nose floral and tropical, with quince and pineapple. Body tart, tropical, and sweaty-dank, with notes of pineapple, lime, flower petals, and bready esters. Lovely complexity at such a low ABV, but somewhat vapid.

Canned 3/23/21, drunk 5/12/21. Heavily hazy, bordering soupy, bronze-brass-maize with a small, quickly dissipating, white head. Heavy, heavy yeast character in the nose adds plentiful plaster-like notes, not quite the bubble gum you'd expect but more bland than that, mixing with a bit of odd chemical/off-flavor. Or perhaps just bland, earthiness? The hops add light lemon, melon and vague wood-like character. Heavy plaster/plastic/bland/earth character in the mouth. The hops and malt are vastly overshadowed by the yeast and/or particulate, which is where this style loses me (and a lot of people, probably). Just weird, undesirable flavors that are blunt, bland and borderline dirty, clashing with the bright lemon and light mango. Light-to-medium body with plentiful particulate-like texture. Not great, didn't finish.

Pint can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy straw colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits, mango, light pineapple. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, big fresh juicy citrus, light subtle creamy coconut palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
