Bottle shared courtesy of Grumbo. Aroma of bread, butter, caramel and hopes. Caramel comes through on the taste with slight carbonation. Not bad.

Pours a lightly hazed amber colour with a small foamy off-white head. The aroma is malty, light fruit and leafy hops. A similar taste, sweet malts, light fruit and a decent hop bitterness in the finish.

Cask at the Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours bitter brown with a fair sized off-white head and good lacing. Malts are the mainstay of the aroma here. In the mouth it has a sticky texture, with grains, ginger and honey to the fore at first, before traditional bitter hops come through strongly. Malts and caramel are lurking underneath as well. Finish is dry and hoppy. Takes a bit of getting used to, but is quite nice. The pump clip claims it is an IPA, and I would say it is more that way than a strong bitter.

7/8/2021. Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours clear orange amber with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, citrus, flowers, marmalade toast. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight foamy carbonation. Pretty decent.

[ As Bridgehouse Holy Cow ].Clear medium orange - amber yellow color with a average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150811]
