Dark Nights is a porter. Black in colour, the use of chocolate and brown malts give a coffee flavour. Fuggles hops used throughout, give an autumnal mellowness.

Bottle. Nose is slightly woody hint of licorice. Taste is sweet dark malt, licorice, blackcurrant, hint of chocolate, almost sour hint of soy. Very serviceable

On cask at the Red Lion jdw, Doncaster. Admins, please note, it may be the same beer as the Jolly Porter as it's the same abv and style. Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Lots of chocolate.
