Working on his Great Western Railway in 1836, Brunel jested about extending the railroad all the way to American with a steamship company. Banter got real when the SS Great Western crossed the Atlantic that same year.
Brunel’s ‘floating palace’ proved anything was possible in Steam Time.
We’re not joking when we say we’ve combined all the best bits of UK and US IPAs; Admiral, Cascade and Mandarina Bavaria hops unite with crystal malt for an intense aroma, with balance and finesse.

330ml bottle. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light grassy, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, light toffee malt, mineral , floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottled as Steam Time IPA @ 5.2% Minimal off white head left a collar on a reddish brown still body. Malt, caramel & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, tingle s on the tongue with softer clean back. Sweet berry, tea, spices, malt, sweet citrus, caramel & yeast tastes. Tastes like a Dunkel!

330ml bottle from Aldi (UK): BBE Oct 19. Poured into an old 'Augustijn' chalice at home in the early hours of 6th May 19. Clear amber/copper body, wisp/no head. Aroma has a marmalade like twist, as does the taste; definite orange like nose and flavours coming through the malty centric brew. Liked it.
