Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is dark chocolate,sweet tobacco,coffee,raisin, black cherries.Taste is black cherry chocolate (something I'm hoping exists),raisin,light smoke,lots of coffee coming through in the back end. Drier than the driest bone known to humanity. Very pleasant.

On tap at Beergeek, Prague. Black with beige head. Roasted, chocolate, some fruity notes, cocoa, sweetish with dry bitter finish. Lacking thickness. Hard to drink. Not sure how old is this, but I've liked the new version way better.

Appearance- midnight black, with a 1-finger mocha head. Aroma- coffee, rich dark chocolate, fudge, vanilla, burnt dark fruit, treacle toffee, brownies. Taste is rich chocolate, espresso, liqueur chocolates, roast dark malt, burnt fruitcake, treacle, bit of oaky vanilla, chocolate sauce. Lengthy chocolatey finish, smooth and oily mouthfeel. Very sweet, very good.

Can at home pcked up from the brewery. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a fine dark tan head. Aroma is nice cinnnamon, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, light apple. Palate is semi sweet rounded, cinnamon bun. Flavour is composed medium sweet, brown sugars, brandy snaps. apple pie, woody choc. light apple brandy, boozy fruit cake. . Solid.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, brown foam. Dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, sweet, a bit of alcohol, a bit of bitterness, full-bodied. Very good.
