On tap @ Odell Brewery. Pours a reddish black, clear appearance with a tan head. Somewhat boozy/spicy, anise, dark chocolate, a bit woody aroma. At first this appears a bit boozy in the flavor but I think warming up brought out some of the flavors that helped to mask the booze somewhat. Dark chocolate, a bit spirit boozy, chocolate, light coffee, advise flavor. Pretty good and actually pretty smooth at 13%.
