Appearance is a copper/deep amber colour with a thick white head which lasts throughout. Aromas of malts, hint of toffee and caramel. Taste is full and creamy with bitterness, toffee and spices, a nice bready quality with hints of raisin in the finish. A nice bitter.

Cask in London, UK. Pours dark amber color, malty aroma, fruity taste. Nice classic ale.

Cask @ C4, Odense. Pours ruby amber with a small creamy head. Chewy malty and fruity. Smooth and soft. Mild bitter finish.

draft @ hoppyloft pours dark brown, good white foam no real smell soft carbo taste has hints of chocolate , coffeebitterness. OK

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Cuivrée, col blanc cassé, moyen. Arôme est malté grillé très anglais dans l’approche, pointe de chocolat, grains et caramel. Les notes des houblons restant assez en retrait. Palais est également dans un style très ’british’, malt caramel, léger pâle. Palais est sec, pointe de grillé mais restant dans les grandes lignées anglaises. Amertume est en retrait ajoutant ce côté fleuri de Golding.

(On Tap) Rich dark mahogany colour with god off white head. Subtle malt and apple aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is rich dark malt with an appley fruitiness. Excellent strong beer - regales too easy to drink.

Pint after work. Copper colour loose white head. Aroma is grassy hop and biscuit. Flavour had a weird slightly autolysis thing. More grassy hop. Watery palate.

Colour: deep red-brown, clear.

Aroma: nutty, fruity, caramel with an alcoholic and medicinal note.

Taste: caramel, medicine.

Cask. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
