Chestnut brown with a frothy head. The modest aroma sports caramel, mixed grains and veggies—pretty much in that order. Taste is disappointingly bland, mildly bittersweet on a watery palate. Minerals at the finish. Medium to light bodied with mild carbonation. Drinkable but forgettable.

Not a beer I like, very chalky and somewhat astringent and harsh. The only thing that brings it back is the nice malty caramel malts. D&s dresden

Coffee and glue in the aroma. Very fruity (pear) flavor with caramel. Thin. (5 3 6 3 11 = 2.8) Bottle @ home, tasted in june 2010. Dark amber color. maltaroma. Malty sweetish, bready flavor with apricot notes and a discrete floral hoparoma. Decent.

Bottle from kappldav. Many thanks. Clear brown colour, beige foam. Grainy, light roasty, some earthy notes. Taste is light sweet, bit bitter. Easy drinkable.

Many thanks for this beer to Mariusz. Dunkel o klarownej czerwonej barwie, Spora piana, w smaku mineralne, karmelowe, lekko rozcienczone wzmacniane wino. Chmielowej nuty brak i brak osadu.

Bottle. Clear ruby color with tan head. Aroma is cooked peas, and quite a lot of them, also a bit herbal and nutty. Taste is roasted, light vegetables, chocolate, earthy. Silky mouthfeel with high-bubbled carbonation. Not great.

Aus der Flasche im 2017-12 getrunken. Ein typisches fränkisches Landbier. Leider etwas charakterlos und mit einen dünnen Körper. Ein Bier gegen den schnellen Durst mehr nicht.

0.5l bottle. Clear, light brown body with a white head. Aroma and taste of bread, toast, grains and floral hops. Starts sweet, but the finish is a bit bitter. OK beer.

Bottle from Maruhn. Clear brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and bready. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 141114
