Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head that settled. The aroma is malty, toasted cereal, caramel and light fruit. A moderately sweet taste, toasted malt, caramel and light fruit flavours with a bittersweet finish.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours gold (between yellow and amber), with a small off-white head. Aroma is primarily oranges with traces of floral hops and bread rolls. It the mouth it is sweet and juicy, but with some underlying bitterness. Flavour has floral hops, tangerine, lemongrass plus hints of toast and berry fruits. Finish is quite fruity. Very quaffable – and quite a lot of flavour for it’s strength.

Cask at the Gatekeeper. Dark golden with creamy head. Kind of a generic bitter, nothing much stands out here. Light, malty, creamy. Looks and feels great. Aroma and flavor light.
