ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, coffee, dusty coffee, roasted - chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coffee, sweet coffee, dusty coffee, chocolate - roasted - dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190808]

Cask @ Market Tavern, Brighouse. Extremely dark red with a thick off-white creamy head. Is always light tasting but has stated enough roasted malts in its taste. This is better in its nose.

12/4/2019. Cask gravity at the Hull Real Ale & Cider Festival 2019. Pours very dark amber to brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate, hops, malt and a hint of mint. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight watery texture, average to soft carbonation.

Very dark brown with a red hue. Aroma and flavour have a lot of bittersweet roasted coffee. Smooth and creamy texture. Packed with flavour.
